Renee C. Fancher is an Associate Attorney at Cardi & Edgar LLP, where she focuses her practice on matrimonial and family law. She brings a strong foundation in defense litigation, having previously worked in general civil litigation and Child Victim’s Act cases. Admitted to practice in New York State, as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, Renee is known for her client-centered approach. Renee passed the Uniform Bar Examination with a score in the top 10% of takers and earned her Juris Doctor Cum Laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. During law school, she served as President of the Family Law Society and competed in the National Appellate Moot Court Competition. Though her coursework, she gained invaluable knowledge of various family law sectors as well as mediation and collaborative law practice. Her passion for family law was evident in her extensive law school internships, where she worked with matrimonial firms, domestic violence advocacy programs, and the Administration for Children’s Services. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where she majored in Sociology with an emphasis on Gender and Family Studies and minored in English. With a strong background in both litigation and advocacy, Renee is committed to guiding clients through complex family law matters with empathy, diligence, and strategic insight.
